About the Company:
This is a rare opportunity to join one of Melbourne’s most respected fit out and refurb builders – known for their strong client relationships, innovation, and design-led approach. With a track record of delivering complex projects in live environments, they’re looking for a Preconstruction Manager to lead the front-end of the build process with precision and confidence.
The Role:
Reporting to the Project Manager, you will support the delivery of commercial fit out projects across Melbourne's CBD.
The role provides exposure to both pre-construction and project delivery, allowing you to gain experience across the full project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Let and vet subcontractor packages
- Track and monitor project budgets and costs
- Coordinate design and documentation
- Assist with project programming and coordination
- Prepare project reporting, including progress and cost reporting
- Coordinate with Project Managers, consultants, subcontractors and internal stakeholders
About You
The ideal candidate will have a commercial construction or fit out background and is looking to take the next step in their career.
You will be:

- A strong communicator
- Comfortable taking responsibility and ownership
- Organised and able to manage competing priorities
- Confident with IT and project systems
