As the Agri Lending Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of Agri Lending Specialists. You will partner with leaders to develop solutions that will enhance team capacity, effectiveness, and capability. Driving consistency in relation to credit risk appetite, credit process and decisioning.
What you will do:
Leading, coaching and managing the work activities, priorities, and outcomes of your team
Ensuring we are putting our customers first and achieving first time right principles
Providing technical advice, guidance, support and mentoring across your team
Building the capability of your team through coaching, providing performance feedback, managing conflicts, and encouraging career development
Exercising operational and credit designated lending authorities (reporting to the Credit & Risk EM) as per the RIC’s Farm Loans Delegation framework
Responsible for providing leadership in implementing and promoting a climate of change and continuous improvement in addition to identifying, evaluating, and managing risk in the delivery of outcomes
Responsible for maintaining awareness of current developments in the field of work, anticipating their impact on the work area, and responding appropriately to mitigate risk
Participate in the resolution of escalated issues and complaints – leveraging your expert industry knowledge

Salary range $128,876 to $151,619 per annum + superannuation
About you:
To be successful in this role, you are required to have the essential attributes of a recognised leader:

Ability to exercise sound judgement to make decisions within defined parameters and assigned lending delegation, governed by the application of rules, regulations, best-practice principles or the RIC’s operating instructions and procedures
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proven ability to effectively liaise with internal and external stakeholders
Strong analytical capabilities
Ability to collaborate effectively across wider RIC teams to deliver client outcomes
High level of computer literacy with the ability to navigate through multiple software platforms
To deliver a first-class customer experience, you will have:
Demonstrated experience in coaching a team to high performance
Demonstrated results in consistently achieving high engagement scores for their team
Experience in complex financial analysis and credit standards within the Commercial and Agri banking sector
Ideally you will have demonstrated experience in lending and settlement processes, and a strong understanding of credit risk
Previous agribusiness banking experience or working within a related regional Australian business
Customer relationship management experience
Previous distressed lending experience would be highly regarded
Relevant qualifications in finance, banking, accounting or economics would be highly regarded.
