Level Canberra is a fast‑growing, multi‑entity organisation with strong operational roots and a commitment to building mature, scalable finance systems. As we expand, we’re strengthening our core financial operations — and that’s where you come in.
We’re looking for a Junior Accountant who loves structure, accuracy, and problem‑solving. Someone who keeps the numbers moving, the systems talking to each other, and the stakeholders supported. You’ll be the steady, detail‑driven operator who ensures our financial processes run smoothly across AP, AR, cash management, and system integrations.
This role suits someone who wants real responsibility early, thrives in a fast‑paced environment, and is ready to build the foundations of a long-term finance career.
What You’ll Be Doing
Finance Operations — Process AP/AR transactions, supplier invoices, credit card reconciliations, and track jobs ready for invoicing.
Stakeholder & Escalation Management — Resolve AP/AR queries by working directly with customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
Financial Reporting & Reconciliation — Reconcile cash receipts, manage unallocated funds, input fixed asset disposals, and prepare data for external accountants.
Systems Management — Support and maintain integrations between Simpro/Service Titan and Xero to ensure clean, accurate financial data.
Ad‑hoc Analysis — Assist the Group Financial Accountant with projects, investigations, and improvement initiatives..
What You Bring
A finance/accounting degree (CA/CPA underway or planned is highly advantageous).
Strong computer literacy — MS/Google Suite, job management systems (Simpro preferred), and Xero.
Experience in AP/AR or a similar finance role.
Critical thinking, problem‑solving, and exceptional attention to detail.
Confident communication and a customer‑service mindset.
Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
Who You’ll Work With
Internal: Group Financial Accountant, Accounts Team, operational leaders, customer service/operations teams.
External: Vendors/suppliers, clients, and the company’s external accounting firm.
Your Impact
Accurate, timely AP/AR processing oversight and month‑end inputs.
Reduced debtor days and fast resolution of financial escalations.
Smooth, error‑free data flow between Simpro/Service Titan and Xero.
Strong compliance with financial and WHSE policies.
