Role Summary

We are looking for a hands-on Finance Executive / Manager to support the finance function at our Singapore headquarters. You will independently manage core accounting and closing activities, improve finance processes, coordinate statutory audit and tax matters, and maintain accurate and compliant financial records. You will work closely with management and external professional service providers.

Key Responsibilities

· Financial Accounting & Closing: Manage full-set accounting and periodic closing activities for the Singapore entity, ensuring records are accurate, complete, timely, and properly reconciled.

· Finance Process & Controls: Improve accounting workflows, documentation standards, internal controls, and data quality; identify and resolve finance process issues as needed.

· Audit, Tax & Compliance: Coordinate statutory audit and routine tax/GST compliance with external advisers, and prepare the required schedules and supporting documentation in line with Singapore requirements.

· Finance Operations & Management Support: Maintain reliable financial information and support management reporting and other day-to-day finance-related operational needs.

Qualifications

· Education: Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Professional accounting qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, or CA Singapore are an advantage.

· Experience: 3–5 years of finance/accounting experience, with proven ability to independently handle full-set accounts, general ledger, and month-end closing. Audit/accounting firm experience is preferred; technology, startup, or multinational company experience is a plus.

· Technical Skills: Strong accounting fundamentals and practical knowledge of core accounting processes. Proficient in Excel; experience with mainstream accounting or ERP systems is preferred. Familiarity with Singapore accounting, GST, and audit requirements is desirable.

· Working Style: Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable taking ownership. Able to work independently, maintain clear documentation, solve problems proactively, and adapt to a changing startup environment.

· Language: Strong written and spoken English and Mandarin communication skills.

· Work Eligibility: Must have valid authorization to work in Singapore. The company is currently unable to provide work visa sponsorship for this role.
