About the role

Cogent Holdings Pte Ltd is one of the Singapore leading logistics management service providers. The incumbent will be joining the team as Operations Executive in our subsidiary company.

The Role - Tank Container Depot

Assist the Manager in daily operations and ensure smooth flow of the tank depot activities

Ensure that work assigned to the operations staff are fulfilled to the required standards

Attend to daily mail correspondences from customers

Discuss and report to manager any enhancement on daily operations and implement productivity initiatives

Report to the manager any discrepancies, non-compliance, accidents or customers' feedback

Ensure equipment availability and operational procedures are followed and functioning effectively

Maintain customer's requirements and confidence

Monitor team performance and resolve issues related to response time, movement requirement and daily inventory supply

Attend operations meeting with shipping agents or clients to discuss operation work plan and implementation

Keep track of fixed assets and ensure tank depot facilities are in good order

The Role - Warehouse

Responsible to set clear contact matrix and daily communication channels for internal vs external parties

Responsible to devise and implement control measures to ensure zero errors in receiving and releasing of cargoes

Responsible to ensure warehouse operations run efficiently to meet timeline, KPI and budget control

Ensure operational effectiveness and efficiency of the material handling equipment and safety compliance

Attend to customer’s enquires and requests and keep customer fully informed of the details of goods received and goods issued

Attend customer KPI meetings and present KPI scorecards to customers

Operate MHE to assist operations when necessary

Conduct toolbox meeting and drive internal compliance exercise

Investigate incidents and accidents and prepare investigation report for submission

Identify safety hazards in operations areas and proactively eliminate any risks

Ensure compliance with safety & warehouse SOP according to company’s safety procedures, ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 requirements

About you

Degree or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or related field

2 years of experience in operations and supervisory role, preferably in a logistics company

Able to multi-task and goal oriented
