North East Melbourne | $110,000–$130,000 + Super | Hybrid Clinical and Leadership Role
Are you an experienced Speech Pathologist ready to take the next step into leadership while continuing to work clinically?

An established NDIS-registered allied health provider in North East Melbourne is seeking a Team Lead Speech Pathologist to support and develop its growing Speech Pathology team.

This position offers an ideal balance between clinical practice and leadership. The full-time structure includes three clinically focused days and two days dedicated to management and team leadership. Part-time arrangements may also be considered and can be discussed based on your availability.

About the Role You will provide evidence-based Speech Pathology services to clients across the lifespan while supporting clinicians through supervision, mentoring and day-to-day leadership.

The caseload may include children, adolescents and adults with a variety of communication, swallowing and disability-related needs. Services are delivered through a combination of clinic appointments, community visits and telehealth.
Your leadership responsibilities will include:

  • Providing clinical supervision and mentoring to Speech Pathologists
  • Supporting clinicians with complex cases and clinical decision-making
  • Promoting high-quality, evidence-based and client-centred practice
  • Supporting the professional development and wellbeing of the team
  • Contributing to service development and clinical processes
  • Supporting a positive and collaborative multidisciplinary culture
  • Maintaining a manageable clinical caseload across three days per week

About You To be considered for this opportunity, you will have:

  • A recognised qualification in Speech Pathology
  • Eligibility for membership with Speech Pathology Australia
  • Strong clinical experience across Speech Pathology assessment and intervention
  • Previous leadership, supervision or mentoring experience
  • Experience working with NDIS participants
  • Excellent communication, organisation and stakeholder-management skills
  • A collaborative and supportive leadership style
  • A valid driver’s licence and access to a vehicle
