Customer Support & Administration Officer
Far North Queensland Hospital Foundation, Cairns
Full-time (part-time may be considered for the right candidate)
Salary: $60,000 plus superannuation
About us
The Far North Queensland Hospital Foundation is a registered charity that supports public health services from Tully to the Torres Strait. Since 1997, we have contributed more than $30 million to improve healthcare by funding equipment, facilities, education, research, and patient support services.
Unlike many charities, our commercial operations, including cafés, catering, vending machines and the Cairns Hospital car park, cover our operating costs. This means every donated dollar supports health care initiatives across Far North Queensland.
About the role
We're looking for a friendly and organised Customer Support & Administration Officer to join our team in this newly created role.
Reporting to the Social Enterprise Operations Manager, you'll provide customer service and administration support across the Foundation's Cairns Hospital car park, reception and office operations.

Your responsibilities will include:
Responding to customer enquiries by phone, email, intercom and in person
Managing customer parking accounts and permits
Assisting customers with parking enquiries, payments and access issues
Providing reception support and greeting visitors
Maintaining accurate records and completing data entry
Assisting with general office administration
Supporting volunteer administration when required
Working collaboratively with the wider Foundation team
About you
You'll enjoy helping people, communicating with a wide range of customers and keeping things organised. You have a positive attitude, strong attention to detail and enjoy working as part of a team.
You'll also bring:
Previous experience in customer service, administration or reception
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Confidence using Microsoft Office and computer-based systems
The ability to manage competing priorities
A professional, reliable and customer-focused approach
Experience in parking operations or customer account management would be an advantage but is not essential. Full training will be provided in our systems and processes.

Join a friendly and supportive team
Enjoy a varied role with no two days the same
