This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior FP&A Analyst to move into a finance business partnering role. You'll work closely with operational leaders, influence key business decisions, drive budgeting and performance management and play a highly visible role in supporting the growth and financial success of a leading asset-intensive organisation.

Description
Reporting to the Head of FP&A, you will play a key role in financial planning, performance management, budgeting, forecasting and business partnering activities. Beyond reporting, this position requires a commercially-minded finance professional who can influence stakeholders, challenge assumptions and drive financial discipline across operational teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate the annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes across multiple business units.
- Prepare monthly management reporting, financial performance analysis and variance commentary.
- Partner closely with operational and functional stakeholders to provide meaningful financial insights and recommendations.
- Challenge business assumptions and support decision-making through robust financial analysis.
- Monitor operating costs and drive accountability through regular performance reviews.
- Support long-term value creation initiatives, business cases and strategic projects.
- Improve reporting processes, planning models and financial controls through automation and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Consolidate budget submissions, analyse trends and prepare management presentations for leadership reviews.
- Ensure accuracy, integrity and timely delivery of financial information.
Profile
A successful FP&A Professional should have:
- Degree in Finance, Accountancy or related discipline.
- At least 8 years of FP&A, commercial finance or business finance experience.
- Strong budgeting, forecasting and management reporting experience.
- Proven ability to business partner with operational stakeholders.
- Confidence in influencing, challenging and driving conversations with senior stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
- Experience working in complex, matrix or operationally intensive environments.
- Exposure to Oracle, Vena, Tagetik or similar finance systems will be advantageous.
