Imagine getting paid to sing, dance, tell stories, perform magic and inspire young children through movement.

Happy Feet Fitness is looking for enthusiastic, energetic and reliable Cover Instructors to join our Queensland team.

As an independent contractor, you'll provide relief for our regular instructors when they're on leave, unwell or attending training. Every day is different, with opportunities to teach at a variety of early childhood education and care centres across your local area.

Whether your background is in early childhood education, dance, performing arts, music, fitness, sport, coaching or children's entertainment, if you love engaging young children, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll deliver our award-winning, play-based movement program to babies, toddlers and preschool-aged children (0-5 years).

Every 30-minute class is packed with:

🎵 Music, movement and dance

✨ Magic, puppets and exciting props

🦖 Imaginative storytelling and adventures

🤸 Games, fitness and fundamental movement skills

🌈 Play-based learning that supports children's development

One class might be a dinosaur adventure, the next an outer space mission or an underwater exploration. If you enjoy performing, using your imagination and making children laugh, you'll love being part of Happy Feet.

About the Opportunity

As a Cover Instructor, you'll have the flexibility to accept cover work that suits your availability.

This is an ideal opportunity if you're looking for flexible school-hours work, are returning to the workforce, studying, working around family commitments or simply want a rewarding role that fits around your lifestyle.

Many of our permanent instructors began their journey as Cover Instructors before progressing to build their own Happy Feet Fitness business.

Income

As an independent contractor, you'll be paid:

$50 per 30-minute class

Full training provided before you commence

Ongoing mentoring and support from your State Manager

Opportunities to cover classes across your local area

This Role Could Be Perfect If You...

Love working with babies, toddlers and preschool-aged children

Have an energetic, confident and engaging personality

Enjoy performing, teaching or presenting to groups of children

Are reliable and responsive when cover opportunities arise

Build rapport easily and communicate professionally

Hold a current Blue Card

Have a reliable vehicle and are happy to travel to different centres

Are available during weekdays and school hours (min 3 days per week availability needed)
