Position Overview
The Junior Visual Designer is responsible for producing creative, high-quality visual designs that strengthen Vin's Automotive Group's brand presence across multiple business units, including vehicle sales, workshop, insurance, leasing, financing and corporate branding. This role supports both digital and print marketing initiatives while ensuring all creative assets remain consistent with the company's brand identity.
The ideal candidate is passionate about design, highly creative, detail-oriented, and eager to continuously learn new design trends, technologies and AI-powered creative tools.
Key Responsibilities
1. Visual Design & Creative Development
Design high-quality marketing collateral for both digital and print platforms.
Produce social media creatives, advertisements, brochures, flyers, banners, posters, showroom materials and promotional campaigns.
Create visual assets for websites, landing pages, online marketplaces and digital advertising platforms.
Prepare artwork suitable for print production and digital publishing.
2. Brand Identity & Creative Consistency
Ensure all creative materials comply with the company's branding guidelines.
Maintain consistency across all marketing channels and customer touchpoints.
Support the continuous enhancement and evolution of the company's visual identity.
Ensure all artwork reflects a modern, premium and professional brand image.
3. Marketing & Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with Marketing, Car Sales, Workshop, Insurance, Leasing and other departments to develop creative solutions.
Participate in brainstorming sessions for campaigns, product launches and promotional activities.
Translate marketing concepts into engaging visual communications.
Present design concepts and incorporate stakeholder feedback effectively.
4. Project Management
Manage multiple design projects while meeting agreed timelines.
Prioritise workloads according to business requirements.
Maintain organised design files, templates and creative assets.
Coordinate revisions and approvals with internal stakeholders.
5. Market Research & Creative Innovation
Stay updated on industry trends, design best practices and emerging technologies.
Research competitor marketing materials and creative campaigns.
Explore and adopt AI design tools and new technologies to improve design quality and productivity.
Continuously recommend creative improvements and fresh design ideas.
6. Quality Assurance
Review all creative work for accuracy, consistency and brand compliance.
Ensure artwork meets technical specifications for print and digital production.
Proofread visual content before final release.
Resolve design-related issues during production when required.
7. Continuous Improvement (Kaizen)
Identify opportunities to improve creative workflows and design processes.
Assist in developing design templates and standardised brand assets.
Contribute ideas that improve efficiency, consistency and creative quality.
Support departmental digitalisation initiatives through AI and automation tools where applicable.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Visual Arts or a related discipline.
Experience
1–2 years of experience in Graphic Design or Visual Design.
Fresh graduates with a strong design portfolio are encouraged to apply.
Experience within the automotive, retail or advertising industry will be an advantage.
Technical Skills
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign).
Experience using Canva and other creative design platforms.
Good understanding of typography, colour theory, layout and composition.
Knowledge of AI-powered creative tools (e.g. Adobe Firefly, ChatGPT, Midjourney or similar) is advantageous.
Basic photography or photo retouching skills are a plus.
Preferred Skills
Candidates with the following experience will have an added advantage:
Motion Graphics (Adobe After Effects)
Video Editing (Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut or equivalent)
Basic UX/UI design principles
Website design and landing page layouts
Digital marketing creative production
Experience creating assets for Meta, Google, TikTok and other digital advertising platforms
