Own the link between our clients and our operations.
Energy Advance is one of Australia's largest building energy performance consultancies. We complete more than 30,000 assessments a year for many of the country's biggest residential builders, with a team of close to 50 people based in Wangara.
We are looking for a Client Liaison & Workflow Manager to lead our Workflow Team and be the person our clients rely on to know exactly where their jobs are up to.
This is a hands-on leadership role. You will control how work moves through the business, keep our turnaround commitments on track, and make sure clients hear from us before they have to ask.
If you enjoy building relationships, solving problems and keeping a busy operation running to time, this one will suit you.
What you will be doing
Leading the day to day activities of the Workflow Team, including job allocation, priorities and deadlines.
Acting as a key point of contact for client enquiries, job updates and escalations.
Monitoring turnaround times and making sure our service commitments are met.
Contacting clients early when a job is at risk, rather than after the due date has passed.
Working with our Assessors, Audits and Technical Compliance teams to clear blockages quickly.
Leading, coaching and developing your team.
Reporting to management on turnaround performance, workload and client feedback.
Finding the bottlenecks in our process and fixing them.
What you will bring
Essential
At least 3 years in client service, workflow coordination, operations or account management.
Experience leading, supervising or coordinating a team.
Confidence handling difficult client conversations and holding your position professionally.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to juggle competing priorities under deadline pressure.
Sound judgement about when to solve a problem yourself and when to escalate it.
Full Australian working rights.
Highly regarded
Experience in a high volume, deadline driven service environment.
Exposure to residential construction, building compliance, drafting or a related industry.
Experience with Zoho or a comparable CRM and workflow platform.
What we offer
Hourly rate of $43–$45 per hour, plus superannuation.
A genuine leadership role with room to grow as the business grows.
On site parking at our Wangara office.
Ongoing training and industry specific development.
A business that invests heavily in systems and automation, so you spend your time on people and clients rather than chasing spreadsheets.
How to apply
Apply with your CV and a short cover letter telling us about a time you turned around a difficult client relationship.
We review applications as they arrive and will be in touch with shortlisted candidates within a week.
