Posted 25 days ago
Build partnerships. Inspire generosity. Help change the future of healthcare.
At Charlies Foundation for Research, we believe generosity changes lives.
Every partnership we build, every event we deliver and every dollar we raise helps fund world-class research and patient-centred innovation at Sir Charles Gairdner and Osborne Park Hospitals.
From pioneering medical discoveries to life-changing patient care, our supporters are helping create healthier futures for Western Australians.
We're looking for an enthusiastic and relationship-driven Partnerships & Events Coordinator to join our growing team.
This is an opportunity to build meaningful relationships with businesses, community groups and generous supporters while delivering fundraising initiatives that make a genuine difference.
What you'll be doing
Working closely with our Fundraising & Partnerships Manager, you'll help deliver fundraising initiatives that inspire generosity and strengthen long-term relationships.
Your work will include:
Building and supporting corporate partnerships and sponsorships
Coordinating our annual Giving Day campaign
Delivering workplace giving and employee engagement programs
Planning and coordinating fundraising and donor events
Supporting donor and partner stewardship
Managing gift-in-kind partnerships
Maintaining accurate CRM records and reporting
Identifying new opportunities to grow fundraising income
No two days are the same—and that's exactly what makes this role exciting.
We're looking for someone who...
You genuinely enjoy connecting with people.
You're organised, proactive and thrive on juggling multiple projects while keeping relationships at the centre of everything you do.
Ideally you'll bring:
✔ Experience in fundraising, partnerships, sponsorship, events or business development
✔ Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills
✔ Strong organisational and project coordination abilities
✔ Confidence working with a CRM
✔ A positive, collaborative attitude
✔ A genuine passion for making a difference
If you've worked in the not-for-profit sector that's wonderful—but it's certainly not essential.
We're just as interested in people from corporate partnerships, marketing, hospitality, events or account management who know how to build great relationships.
Why Charlies?
We're a small team with big ambition.
You'll have the opportunity to contribute ideas, build meaningful relationships and see the direct impact of your work on medical research and patient outcomes.
In return, we offer:
A supportive and collaborative team
Flexible working arrangements
Salary packaging benefits
Professional development opportunities
A workplace where your contribution genuinely matters
