About the role

As an EWP (over 11m) Spotter, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe operation of construction machinery and equipment on job sites. This is a casual position up to 6 months, based in Orchard Hills, NSW.

Key responsibilities

Closely monitor the movement and activity of construction machinery and equipment to identify potential hazards or unsafe conditions

Provide clear and timely communication to equipment operators to guide their actions and prevent accidents

Maintain constant awareness of the work environment and the locations of workers, vehicles, and other obstacles

Collaborate with the construction team to implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures

Assist with the set-up and tear-down of work sites as needed

Report any safety concerns or incidents to the site supervisor immediately

About you

Previous experience as a Spotter or similar role in the construction industry

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide clear and concise instructions

Strong attention to detail and the ability to quickly identify and respond to potential safety hazards

Good physical fitness and the ability to work in various outdoor conditions

Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation to and from the job site

Mandatory EWP (over 11m) Spotter certification

Completed working from heights certificate

Clear criminal history check
