This role is responsible for preparing accurate and competitive quotations for Gas Delivery components and systems for both internal and external customers. Analyze multi-level Bills of Materials (BOMs), review engineering drawings and specifications, and develop cost estimates using Oracle, Agile, and Excel.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a manufacturing environment, proficiency in ERP systems, and the ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Quote and prepare competitive bids for orders and new projects
Prepares Quotes and Cost Estimates
Apply pricing standards/models to costs
Work with Engineering / Manufacturing to determine material requirements and manufacturing processes needed to complete quotes/orders
Work with Engineering, Supply Chain, Sales, and/or other departments to determine methods and pricing for new products
Maintain effective contact with customers
Provide input and feedback on issues relevant to customer programs
Work independently with moderate supervision
Requirements
3-5+ years of Quoting or equivalent work experience
B.S. or equivalent work experience or any combination of education and experience
Experience managing multi-level Bills of Material (BOMs) in a complex manufacturing environment, preferably within semiconductor or equipment assembly industries. Exposure to Gas Box Assembly would be an added advantage.
Experience reading/using/understanding Engineering prints/drawings/documents
Excellent Microsoft Excel skills including but not limited to Vlookups, Pivot Tables, VBA
Excellent analytical and mathematics skills
Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong MS Office, Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills
Solid Knowledge of MRP, Oracle and Agile systems
