2XM require an experienced Electronics Technician for a long term Perth based role working South of the River.
To be considered for this role you must be Permanent Resident or Australian Citizen.
Inspection, diagnosis, repair, and remanufacture of electronic components and systems used in control groups for haul trucks.
Duties will include but not be limited to:
- Diagnose and repair electrical / electronic components including IGBTs, contactors, exciters, rectifiers, and other control system modules.
- Perform detailed fault-finding and testing on control group systems.
- Conduct remanufacturing processes in accordance with OEM specifications and internal quality standards.
- Use schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to guide repair and testing procedures.
- Operate test benches and diagnostic tools to verify component functionality.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts usage, and test results.
- Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to improve repair processes and component reliability.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Degree or Trade qualification as an Electrician or Electronics Technician.
- Proven experience in electronic repair, preferably in heavy equipment or mining applications.
- Familiarity control systems and power electronics (IGBTs, rectifiers, etc.).
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation.
- Strong fault-finding to component level on PCBs.
- SMD soldering skills.
- Experience in a remanufacturing or workshop environment is highly desirable.
