About the role
Responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and contamination-controlled environment in accordance with cleanroom standards, company SOPs, and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) requirements.
Key responsibilities
Perform cleaning and disinfection of cleanroom areas according to established schedules
Clean floors, walls, ceilings, doors, windows, and workstations using approved cleanroom methods
Wipe down equipment exteriors, benches, cabinets, and other surfaces with approved disinfectants
Vacuum cleanroom floors using HEPA-filtered vacuum cleaners where required
Prepare and use approved cleaning chemicals and disinfectants according to SOPs
Follow proper cleaning sequence to prevent cross-contamination
Remove cleanroom waste following contamination control procedures
Follow gowning and de-gowning procedures before entering and exiting cleanroom areas
Wear the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) correctly at all times
Complete cleaning checklists and logbooks accurately
About you
Follow Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations
Adhere to GMP, ISO, and company quality standards
Follow chemical handling procedures and Safety Data Sheets (SDS)
Comply with cleanroom behaviour rules (e.g., minimizing particle generation, proper movement, and hygiene practices)
Maintain contamination control standards during all cleaning activities
