Join a well-established and highly regarded national HVAC business with more than 45 years of industry experience and a strong presence across Australia.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Project Engineer to join the business during an exciting period of growth. Working closely with Project Managers, clients, consultants, subcontractors and site teams, you will play a key role in coordinating the technical and commercial delivery of HVAC projects from commencement through to completion.

The Role
- Support the delivery of HVAC projects from contract award through to completion and handover.
- Work closely with Project Managers to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.
- Review drawings, specifications, scopes of work and contract documentation.
- Coordinate project documentation, technical submissions, RFIs and design queries.
- Assist with project planning, programming and tracking of key milestones.
- Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and internal project teams.
- Assist with procurement of equipment, materials and subcontractor services.
- Review subcontractor and supplier quotations and assist with commercial assessments.
- Assist with project cost tracking, forecasting, variations and progress claims.
- Monitor project progress and proactively identify technical, commercial and delivery risks.
- Attend site, client and consultant meetings where required.
- Assist with commissioning, testing and project handover.
- Ensure all project documentation is maintained accurately and in accordance with company procedures.
- Promote high standards of HSEQ across project delivery.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a Project Engineer within HVAC, mechanical services or building services.
- Strong understanding of commercial HVAC systems and project delivery.
- Experience working with drawings, specifications, technical documentation and project schedules.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Good commercial awareness with an understanding of project costs, variations and procurement.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to coordinate multiple priorities and work effectively within a project team.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Relevant qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, Construction Management or a related discipline is preferred.
- Experience with commercial construction or building services projects will be highly regarded.
