Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Printing Supervisor to oversee daily print-floor operations, lead production staff and manage digital and offset printing workflows. You will ensure quality output, efficient production, workplace safety and timely job completion.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee digital and offset printing, pre-press and finishing operations.

Plan and prioritise jobs from file receipt through production to final delivery.

Lead and coach production staff to meet daily and weekly targets.

Perform and supervise print-ready file checks using Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and Acrobat.

Maintain print quality, colour accuracy and finished-product consistency.

Monitor printing equipment, coordinate basic maintenance and escalate technical faults.

Conduct quality checks and take ownership of final output.

Coordinate outsourced jobs and liaise with suppliers and vendors.

Track material usage, wastage, productivity and production performance.

Enforce WSH, housekeeping and 5S standards.

Train junior operators and general workers on production, quality and safety procedures.

Resolve production issues and update clients, sales and customer-service teams on job progress.

Support purchasing and inventory planning when required.

Requirements

At least eight years of hands-on printing experience, including experience overseeing a print floor or production team.

Strong knowledge of digital and offset printing, pre-press, colour management and print finishing.

Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and Acrobat.

Experience supervising machine operators and production workers.

Strong production-planning, leadership and problem-solving abilities.

Able to manage multiple jobs and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Physically fit and comfortable working on the production floor.

Willing to work shifts, overtime or weekends when operationally required.

Good communication skills for coordinating with customers, colleagues and suppliers.
