Legacy WA supports the families of veterans. We provide care, connection, and practical assistance to those who have sacrificed for our country. We are seeking a creative and passionate Content Creator to help share our stories, strengthen community engagement, and support fundraising initiatives through compelling digital and print content.
This is a part-time position (0.6 FTE), preferably worked across four or five days per week.
About the Role
The Content Creator will play a key role in developing engaging content that builds awareness of Legacy WA’s mission and inspires support from the community.
Working collaboratively within the engagement and fundraising team, you will create high-quality digital and print content across social media, email marketing campaigns, fundraising appeals, our Legacy Times magazine and will also manage our website content.
This role is ideal for someone who is creative, organised, emotionally intelligent, and passionate about using storytelling and their design skills to make a difference.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and deliver engaging content and fundraising campaigns
Create written and visual content for social media, website, email marketing, and print publications
Lead the production of Legacy Times magazine, sourcing stories and content from across WA
Collaborate with fundraising teams to produce donor-focused campaigns and communications
Manage content calendars and coordinate timely delivery of campaign materials
Ensure all content aligns with Legacy WA’s brand, values, and messaging
Use analytics and insights to improve engagement and campaign performance
Attend events and activities to capture photography and video content when required
About You
You will bring:
Experience in content creation, communications, marketing, or a similar role
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
Strong storytelling, copywriting, and visual content creation skills
Experience creating content across social media, websites, email marketing, and print publications
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines
A genuine passion for community storytelling and making a positive impact
Desirable
Experience in the not-for-profit, charity, community, or veterans’ sector
Experience in fundraising communications or publication production
Additional Requirements
Willingness to work outside normal office hours on occasion to attend events and capture content including photography and video (time off in lieu applies)
Current driver’s licence
The salary for this position is $80,000 + super per annum (pro rata)
