We're excited to announce that, due to our expansion into new projects, we have positions available in the Melbourne Metro and Victoria Regional areas for work on both Telstra & NBN networks. We're seeking experienced haulers, mains jointers, senior fibre splicer, civil workers, and crew leads to join our dynamic team and help drive our continued success.

About the role

We are looking for dedicated and experienced Haulers, Mains Jointers, Civil technicians, Cable Recovery technicians, Fibre Splicer, Technician and Labour, to join and support our team with Telstra & NBN network installation and maintenance. We are after a self-motivated, safety-first team member who can also work independently to join our team.

Key responsibilities - varies on different role:

Scoping

Pipe proving, rod & roping

Cable hauling

Cable identifying

Mains copper jointing

Fibre splicing & cutover

Pit and Pipe installation

Complete other general site related duties as required

Adhere to safety protocols and industry best practices.

About You

You will play a critical role in cable hauling/recovery or pit & pipe installation on the telecommunications network. Your expertise will help ensure our clients receive reliable and high-performance solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience on both Telstra & NBN networks and a strong understanding of Telecommunications network.

Australian permanent residency status is required for this position.

Skills and experience - varies on different role

Previous experience working on Telstra & NBN networks is essential

Minimum 1-2 years of experience working on Telstra & NBN networks is required

Competent in reading and interpreting telecommunications plans

Previous experience in Pipe Proving/Scoping for cable install

Telstra mains cable jointing

Ability to haul various types of cable types/sizes- Fibre and Copper

Civil work experience, pit and pipe

Experience with hand and power tools

Fit for work – physically fit to carry out the job

Positive work attitude and good communication skills

Proficiency in any one of the following telecommunications skills is sufficient: cable hauling, pit & pipe installation, mains jointing, or fibre splicing.
