This is an exciting addition designed to support the arts centre’s ongoing expansion and growing program of shows and events.
Position: Senior Technician – Stage Management
Salary: Base salary of $79,450 pa plus 12% superannuation for a 76-hour fortnight plus attractive penalty rates. Salary, conditions and classification arrangements are governed by the current Enterprise Agreement. Geelong Arts Centre is currently in EA negotiations and provisions may be updated once bargaining is finalised.
The Role
As Senior Technician – Stage Management, you will play a key role in delivering performances, events and productions across Geelong Arts Centre’s venues. Acting as Stage Manager or Supervising Technician as required, you will coordinate rehearsals, performances and event delivery, bringing together artists, presenters, technical staff and venue teams to ensure productions are delivered safely, smoothly and to a high professional standard.
Beyond event delivery, you will contribute to the development of stage management capability across the Centre, providing guidance and support to community users, visiting companies and technical staff while helping strengthen systems, practices and production outcomes across a diverse range of events.
