The Opportunity

Reporting to the Hotel Manager, you will oversee the daily operation of Riverside Restaurant, ensuring exceptional service, strong team engagement, and outstanding business performance.

Working closely with our culinary, events, and hotel teams, you'll create seamless experiences across breakfast, lunch, dinner, conferences, and special events.

In This Role, You Will:

Lead and inspire the restaurant team to deliver exceptional guest experiences

Take ownership of daily operations and service excellence

Be visible on the floor, coaching and supporting your team during service

Drive revenue through upselling initiatives, promotions, and guest engagement

Build a positive team culture through recruitment, training, mentoring, and recognition

Manage rosters, labour costs, productivity, and operational budgets

Oversee stock control, ordering, cost management, and wastage minimisation

Ensure compliance with food safety, RSA, WHS, and brand standards

Maintain exceptional presentation, ambience, and cleanliness standards

Partner with the Head Chef and wider hotel team to deliver successful events, functions, and group bookings

About You

You're a hospitality professional who leads with energy, positivity, and professionalism. You genuinely enjoy developing people, delighting guests, and achieving results.

We're Looking For Someone Who Has:

Previous experience as a Restaurant Manager, Assistant Restaurant Manager, or Senior Supervisor in a hotel, restaurant, or high-volume venue

A strong service mindset and passion for delivering memorable guest experiences

Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams

Experience managing rosters, labour costs, and operational performance

Strong communication and relationship-building abilities

Excellent organisational skills and the ability to perform under pressure

A passion for food, beverages, wine, and hospitality

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, public holidays, and occasional split shifts

Current RSA certification
