JOB REQUIREMENT / RESPONSIBILITIES

Role:

· Responsibilities for the Maintenance and Repair work of Production Automation machines

· Identify and initiate actions to prevent occurrence and recurrence of machine breakdown.

· Work as a team with all departments to achieve Optimum Productivity.

· Ensure all products meet the standard cycle time and minimize machine down time.

Responsibilities:

· To carry out repair & maintenance tasks assigned by Superior.

· To record all repair, faults, action taken & maintenance tasks and shift handover update.

· To provide vision system support during shift to ensure production machines & equipment’s is repaired timely.

· To attend to unforeseen machine breakdown during odd hour.

· To carry out Preventive Maintenance (PM) as scheduled.

· To support all Automation Integration.

· Work closely with other departments to recommend improvement to enhance Productivity & Yield.

· Compliance to all regulatory and in house system requirements especially for medical and automotive customers.

· Must prepare the automation documents, reports and records on daily basics.

· Additional duties may be assigned as needed by the Company or manager/supervisor

· Troubleshoot vision system fault, camera, lighting, sensor, reject unit, and communication issues

EDUCATION / ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION

· Min NTC/Higher NITEC / Diploma in Engineering-related discipline, preferable in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Plastic technology

KEY REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND ABILITY

· Hand-on experience in Factory Automation.

· Experience in automation, machine vision is a plus point.

· Plastic Injection Molding & PLC Programming is a plus point.

· Experience in automation, machine vision is preferred, but not mandatory.
