As a Light Fabrication Boilermaker with AES, you will be responsible for the repair and fabrication of trays and truck bodies and related components. This role involves performing maintenance and repair tasks in a safe, efficient, and competent manner

In this role you will be responsible for:
- Repair and fabricate trays and bodies/modules
- Be accountable for maintaining and repairing equipment in a safe, efficient and competent manner
- Carry out tasks in accordance with site policies and procedures, including take 5’s and the permit to work system
- Work in and maintain a clean and safe working environment with an acceptable level of housekeeping
- Correctly use and maintain PPE at all times
- Use and maintain workshop tooling in accordance with working specifications and conditions
- Maintain accurate time-keeping records relating to work tasks
- Perform any additional tasks as directed which are within your skill, qualification, and competence level
What we are looking for:
- Australian Manual Drivers Licence
- Australian/NZ Recognised Trade Certificate
- Tickets and licences EG: Forklift, WAH, Confined Space, Dogging (desired)
- Body building, fabrication and welding experience within industrial/light fabrication environments
- Strong fabrication and welding skills, including welding up to 12mm plate
- Experience with sheet metal, guillotines and hydraulic presses
- Ability to fabricate handrails, platforms, ladders and other structures from various designs
- Ability to read and interpret design/engineering drawings
- Willingness to complete and pass a welding test
- Ability to work to tight deadlines while maintaining a high standard of workmanship
- Availability to work Monday to Friday, 6:00am–5:00pm, with up to 6 hours on Saturdays as required
