Key accountability (Main purpose of this job):

Reporting to the Security Executive and Security Supervisor, this role is responsible for ensuring the security and safety of all stakeholders (i.e. staff, students, parents, visitors and contractors etc) and property.

Responsibilities (Key areas of Responsibilities):

Ensure strict adherence to all security SOPs and preventive measures at all times.

Perform day to day operational duties including patrol, traffic control and static duties such as security checks and visitor registration.

Monitor security systems including the CCTV, Fire Alarm etc in the designated post.

Observe and report any suspicious behavior of visitors, unauthorized removal of CIS property, criminal acts (e.g. theft or misconduct etc), safety or fire hazards, loss or accidents that could put CIS at risk.

Enforce gate or school closure upon receiving instructions in the event of an evacuation or emergency.

Undertake any other duties as assigned by the Senior Security Executive, Security Supervisor and/or Head of Facilities.

Requirements:

Valid Security Officer licence under PLRD

Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar capacity

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Firm, tactful, observant, alert and maintains a pleasant disposition when handling visitors and/or stakeholders

Able to do shift work on a rotational basis: 7am to 7pm and 7pm to 7am, including weekend & public holiday

Gross Salary : $2,500 - $3,000
