About the role
The Plant Manager is responsible for leading a team of 20+ employees, manufacturing packaging material for flour and other bulk commodities. Working closely with the adjoining Mill, you will oversee people, machinery, quality, materials and production performance.

Duties

• Lead operators and leading hands across two production lines.
• Monitor production output, machinery reliability & maintenance needs.
• Coordinate inventory, purchasing and material supply using SAP.
• Improve plant processes, reporting, productivity and waste control.
• Set clear safety, quality and operating expectations across the plant.

Skills & experience

• Supervisory or leadership experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
• Practical mechanical aptitude and understanding of machinery.
• Demonstrated safety leadership and proactive problem-solving skills.
• Strong organisation, communication and attention to detail.
• Full Australian working rights.
