Full Job Description
MJD Recruitment is currently partnering with a well-established contractor operating within the commercial construction sector to recruit a Project Coordinator. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and proactive individual looking to further develop their career within a project delivery environment. Working closely with senior leadership and operational teams, you will play a key role in supporting the successful planning, coordination and delivery of multiple projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day project activities to support successful project delivery
• Manage procurement activities including obtaining quotations, raising purchase orders and tracking materials
• Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors and project stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
• Assist with project programming, resource planning and progress reporting
• Maintain accurate project documentation including drawings, RFIs, transmittals and project records
• Identify potential project risks or delays and assist in implementing solutions
• Work collaboratively across project teams to ensure smooth project execution

To Be Successful, You Will Bring

• Previous experience in a Project Coordinator or similar project support role
• Experience within construction, building services, engineering, infrastructure or a related industry
• Strong understanding of procurement processes and supplier coordination
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• High attention to detail and strong organisational capabilities
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams and competing priorities
• Proficiency across Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook
• Experience using Bluebeam or similar document management software will be highly regarded
