The Opportunity

We are assisting our client, an award-winning luxury private-island resort and hospitality operator, in hiring a Travel Reservations & Guest Service Executive. This opportunity is ideal for hospitality professionals from premium hotels, luxury resorts, serviced residences or other high-touch customer-service environments. Prior travel industry experience is advantageous but not mandatory. Candidates with strong hotel reservations, front office, guest relations or concierge experience are encouraged to apply.

You will manage reservations and personalised travel arrangements for international guests, ensuring that every interaction reflects the exceptional service standards expected of a luxury resort—from the initial enquiry through to the guest’s arrival.

Why Consider This Opportunity?

Join an award-winning luxury hospitality and travel operator.

Transition from premium hotel operations into a broader reservations and travel-experience role.

Enjoy a primarily work-from-home arrangement while the new office is under renovation.

Gain exposure to luxury reservations, inbound travel coordination and end-to-end guest services.

Manage the complete guest journey, from the first enquiry and booking through to arrival at the resort.

Build valuable experience working with hospitality partners, transport providers and service vendors.

Key Responsibilities

Manage accommodation and travel enquiries through email, live chat and telephone while maintaining luxury hospitality service standards.

Process reservations, amendments, cancellations, payments and booking confirmations accurately and promptly.

Provide detailed information on room categories, rates, packages, promotions, resort facilities and available guest experiences.

Understand guests’ preferences and recommend suitable accommodation or travel arrangements to enhance their experience and support revenue opportunities.

Coordinate accommodation, ferry transfers, ground transportation, meals and other travel arrangements with internal teams and external partners.

Maintain accurate guest profiles, reservation records, correspondence, payment details and travel documentation.

Follow up with guests on travel information, travel documents, visa requirements, dietary preferences and other details required for their journey.

Anticipate guest needs and provide thoughtful, personalised assistance before their arrival.

Resolve reservation and travel-related concerns professionally while keeping guests and relevant stakeholders informed.

Liaise closely with resort teams, hotels, transport providers and other service partners to ensure seamless arrangements.

When assigned to travel-hosting duties, welcome guests at the ferry terminal and assist with boarding passes, luggage check-in, customs and immigration procedures.

Accompany guests during ferry transfers, provide timely journey updates and ensure a smooth handover to the resort hospitality team.

Key Requirements

Minimum 3 years’ experience in a premium hotel, luxury resort, serviced residence or high-touch hospitality environment is highly preferred.

Experience in hotel reservations, front office, guest relations, concierge, travel operations or inbound travel will be relevant.

Travel industry experience is advantageous but not mandatory; training can be provided to candidates with strong hospitality foundations.

Demonstrated ability to serve international or discerning guests with professionalism, warmth and attention to detail.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly when handling guest enquiries and email correspondence.

Service-oriented and confident in managing special requests, concerns and last-minute changes.

Meticulous and organised, with the ability to manage multiple reservations and priorities accurately.

Commercially aware and comfortable recommending suitable room options, packages and guest experiences.

Proficient in written and spoken English; additional language capabilities would be advantageous.

Able to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating closely with the wider team.

Willing to work rotating shifts, including early shifts, weekends and public holidays.

Comfortable travelling by ferry when assigned to guest-hosting duties.

If you have experience delivering exceptional service within a premium hospitality environment and would like to expand your career into luxury reservations and travel operations, we welcome your application.
