Key Responsibilities:

Assist with the execution of audits for a varied client portfolio

Support in identifying and communicating risk areas to clients

Assist in developing audit strategies and drafting audit plans

Contribute to group audit instructions and documenting control environments

Review working papers around technical accounting and audit requirements

Assist with drafting management letters and audit completion reports

Prepare statutory financial reports

Build strong client relationships through on-site client visits

Support and guide junior staff on engagements

Qualifications and Skills:

A minimum of 2+ years of hands-on experience in Audit or Assurance within an accounting firm in Australia

Progression towards CPA/CA studies, showcasing your dedication to professional advancement

Possession of a relevant bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related discipline

Proficiency in contributing to audit teams of different scales, highlighting your adaptability and versatility

Growing experience taking ownership of sections of audit engagements, demonstrating your development towards a leadership path

Proven ability to engage and communicate effectively with stakeholders and clients, fostering collaborative relationships
