This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong conveyancing background who's ready to step into (or continue in) a leadership role while remaining close to the day-to-day work.

Description

What you'll be doing

  • Leading and supporting a team (~3), delivering end-to-end property settlements
  • Managing daily workflow allocation, team capacity, and deadlines
  • Acting as an escalation point for complex or high-value matters
  • Maintaining a hands-on approach with settlements and PEXA workspaces
  • Overseeing lodgements, post-settlement activities, and quality of outputs
  • Ensuring SLAs, KPIs, turnaround times, and client expectations are met
  • Driving continuous improvement across processes and operations
  • Coaching, mentoring, and developing team members
  • Supporting onboarding, training, and capability development
  • Managing shared communication channels and ensuring timely responses
  • Partnering with clients to deliver a high-quality, consistent experience

Profile

What we're looking for

  • Strong experience managing end-to-end conveyancing settlements
  • Hands-on experience creating and managing PEXA workspaces
  • Background within a conveyancing firm or legal practice (non-bank)
  • Prior leadership, mentoring, or senior-level experience
  • Strong understanding of conveyancing processes and eConveyancing platforms (PEXA/Sympli)
  • Ability to manage high volumes, competing priorities, and tight deadlines
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with strong communication skills
  • Full and unrestricted AU working rights
