Start building your career in property and facilities coordination

Core4 is looking for an organised and confident Maintenance Coordinator to join our growing maintenance team.

This role would suit someone who is still relatively early in their career but has already gained some experience in administration, customer service, scheduling, maintenance, construction, property or a coordination-based role.

You don't need years of industry experience, but we're looking for someone who has worked in a professional environment, is comfortable speaking with different people throughout the day and can stay on top of multiple jobs at once.

You'll work closely with our clients, trades and internal team to coordinate repairs and maintenance across commercial properties throughout Australia.

What you'll be doing

No two days will look exactly the same. You'll be responsible for coordinating maintenance jobs from initial request through to completion, including:

Liaising with clients, trades and internal teams to coordinate maintenance works

Scheduling trades and confirming attendance dates and times

Keeping clients updated on the progress of their jobs

Preparing and issuing work orders to trades and suppliers

Following up outstanding works and helping keep jobs moving

Handling incoming calls and maintenance requests

Updating job information and maintaining accurate records

Problem solving when schedules change or issues arise

Providing general administrative and coordination support to the maintenance team

What we're looking for

We're looking for someone who is organised, reliable and comfortable working in a busy environment.

Ideally, you'll have:

At least 1 year experience in administration, customer service, scheduling, property, construction, maintenance or a similar role

Strong organisational and time management skills

Confidence speaking with clients, trades and suppliers over the phone

The ability to manage multiple jobs and priorities at the same time

Good written communication and attention to detail

A practical approach to problem solving

Intermediate Microsoft Office skills

A willingness to learn and take ownership of your work

Previous construction or maintenance experience is helpful but not essential. We're more interested in finding someone with the right attitude, communication skills and ability to stay organised.

Why join Core4?

You'll be joining a team where you can learn how commercial maintenance and property services operate and develop real coordination experience.

For the right person, there is opportunity to grow within Core4.

Core4 provides property services across Australia and New Zealand, working with clients across commercial, hospitality, retail and other large property portfolios. This means there is plenty of variety and exposure to different types of jobs and clients.

We value people who are reliable, hardworking and willing to help each other get the job done.

If you're looking for your next step after gaining some initial workplace experience and want a role where you can develop your coordination skills, we'd love to hear from you.

Please note only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
