About the role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable trade qualified head mechanic. In this role you will be held to a standard that is aimed to enhance the company, its products, services, optimizing customer safety and satisfaction, working with a well trained and knowledgeable team.
Key responsibilities
Road testing and diagnosis of customer vehicles and ordering parts required on a daily basis
Repairing and maintaining customer vehicles to the highest standard
Identifying mechanical faults as well as using state of the art electronic diagnostic equipment
General mechanical repairs and Logbook servicing
Providing advice and reporting potentially dangerous risks found on customer vehicles
Safely operating hoists and other workshop equipment
Conducting road tests as required
About you
Trade certificate in light vehicle repairs or higher
Drivers license is essential
AIS ticket is essential or the ability to be obtained
Able to work within a team environment
Physically fit and able to carry out day-to-day duties
Knowledge of safe work practices
