38 hours per week / 9-day fortnight role in our Willoughby City Council Depot in Gibbes Street, Chatswood.
Salary in line with Local Government Award rates plus 12% Superannuation

About the Role
As the Apprentice Greenspace (Sportsfield), you will:
Learn and develop key skills in maintaining sportsfields, parks, and open spaces under the guidance of experienced staff, while completing a Certificate III in Horticulture and gaining valuable hands-on experience in the field.

What You’ll Bring
School Certificate/Higher School Certificate/ Record of School Achievement (RoSA) or equivalent
Class C Driver’s Licence (P1 Licence also acceptable)
Eligible for entry into the Certificate III Horticulture under Smart & Skilled Training. For more information refer to click here
This involves learning one day per week off site for a period of approximately 3 years
Demonstrated basic knowledge in and a genuine interest to pursue a career in Horticulture.
Well-developed communication and numeracy skills.
Commitment to providing excellent customer service
Demonstrated ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively as part of a team
