This 12-month maternity leave role offers the opportunity to step into a well-supported Finance Business Partnering team that services a complex, multi-entity education institution. You’ll bring your analytical, reporting and client engagement strengths into a hands-on role supporting internal business units with their operational finance needs.
Working under the guidance of a Senior Finance Business Partner, you’ll support a diverse client group with:

• Month-end journals, reconciliations and acquittals
• Reporting and analysis for budget and forecasting cycles
• Client engagement and financial policy advice
• Review of business cases and data to ensure financial accuracy
• Maintaining and improving finance reports using TM1, Oracle and Excel

You'll be the go-to finance support contact for your assigned Schools or Divisions, helping non-finance stakeholders interpret data and plan confidently.
Who we’re looking for
You’ll be a mid-level finance professional who enjoys working close to the business and thrives in a collaborative team setting. You’ll bring:

• A qualification in accounting, finance or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Experience across journals, reporting, forecasting and month-end close
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
• Familiarity with enterprise finance tools (GL Wand, TM1 and Oracle ideal)
• Strong interpersonal skills with the confidence to present and explain financial results

Work environment
Based at Richmond campus, with the flexibility to work from other locations including Parramatta or Penrith. Work-from-home arrangements may be considered in line with business needs.
