BRAMS is seeking two full-time Human Resources Business Partners, based in Broome, WA, who will work closely with executive and senior leaders to deliver people-focused, compliant, and culturally aligned HR services.
These roles will support two core business areas:
Clinical Services - supporting the primary healthcare and medical teams
Community Services - supporting aged care, NDIS, and community programs
Both roles are strategic and hands-on, with responsibility for managing the full employee lifecycle and contributing to workforce capability, engagement, and compliance.
Key responsibilities include:
Acting as the trusted HR advisor for either Clinical or Community Services
Managing end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning
Leading performance and development processes, probation reviews, and engagement activities
Overseeing screening, credentialing, and audit-ready compliance for regulated programs
Supporting senior managers through change initiatives and workforce improvement projects
Contributing to succession planning, reporting, and HR policy development
Is This You?
The successful candidate will hold a tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline, and bring at least two years of experience delivering HR services within a complex, people-centred environment.
Candidates with experience in the following sectors will be highly regarded:
Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisations (ACCHOs)
Community services, aged care, disability or NDIS providers
Not-for-profit or regional health organisations
Ideal candidates will also demonstrate:
Emotional intelligence - the ability to navigate relationships with empathy and cultural sensitivity
Solutions-focused thinking - able to adapt to evolving circumstances and make informed HR decisions
Resilience and flexibility - capable of handling competing priorities in a fast-paced, multifaceted environment
Strong interpersonal skills - able to build trust and collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders
Confidentiality and professionalism - upholding the highest ethical and organisational standards
These roles are ideal for HR professionals who thrive in environments where compliance, compassion, and capacity-building go hand in hand.
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are strongly encouraged to apply.
A Role with Real Impact
These positions form part of BRAMS’ commitment to a refreshed HR Business Partner model, one that builds the capability of internal leaders, supports culturally safe care, and empowers Aboriginal staff through partnership and mentorship.
Rather than taking a top-down, transactional approach, BRAMS is seeking HR professionals who can balance structure with empathy and who understand the importance of flexibility and responsiveness in a remote Aboriginal health context.
Candidates who are aligned with BRAMS’ values and bring both compliance confidence and a relational mindset will thrive in this role.
