Public Sector People are working with a State Government organisation who are seeking an experience JEMS qualified Senior Human Resources Officer on an initial contract until 29th May 2026 + extension.

The Job

• ASAP START
• Attractive pay rates $78 + 12 Super (PAYG)

• Initial contract + extension

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Work with internal key stakeholder to development new position descriptions using the JEMS methodology.
• Update existing position descriptions to ensure role clarity and differentiation of classification levels are captured.
• Conduct JEMS across the whole organisation to ensure accuracy of clarification levels for now and into the future as the organisation continues to grow.
• Partner with leaders and employees to build trusted, collaborative relationships
• Support recruitment and selection, workforce planning and change initiatives

About you:

• Must be JEMS qualified and have a high level of knowledge and experience preparing QLD government position descriptions and conducting JEMS.
• QLD Government experience in managing and coordinating recruitment and selection processes from start to finish.
• Ability to quickly build, manage and maintain stakeholder relationships.
• Available for interview this week and start ASAP!
