The Dargo Bush Nursing Centre (DBNC) is looking for an experienced and motivated Registered Nurse to join us in the role of Nurse Manager. This is a 12-month full-time position, however part-time (minimum 24 hours per week) will also be considered. Your Role

As the Nurse Manager, you'll oversee the day-to-day operations of the Centre and support a small team of nurses providing vital health services to the Dargo community. You'll play a key role in leading clinical care, ensuring quality and safety standards, and fostering a positive, supportive workplace culture.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Managing clinical operations, staff, and service delivery.

Promoting staff wellbeing and ensuring compliance with OH&S requirements.

Communicating policy and legislative updates to the team.

Coordinating the implementation of NSQPCH Standards.

Monitoring and managing clinical risks in line with Centre risk management policies.

Working with the Board to achieve strategic goals.

Maintaining service agreements with partner organisations.

Completing required reports accurately and on time.

Meeting community health objectives within available resources.

Overseeing clinical financial performance and budgets.

What You'll Bring

Minimum 5 years post-graduate experience (including emergency or acute care).

At least 3 years' management experience (preferred), including HR, quality, and risk management.

Current AHPRA registration.

Nurse Immuniser qualification (or willingness to obtain).

Strong clinical and assessment skills.

Remote Area Nurse competency (or willingness to undertake).

Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.

Confidence with IT systems and administration.

Ability to work independently and within a small team.

Current driver's licence.
