Founded in 2014 and located in Sydney, Australia – just a few kilometers south of the city – Archie Rose Distilling Co. is Australia's most highly awarded distillery. With conviction, we strive to re-define Australia's rich tradition in distilling by producing a diverse range of whiskies, gins, vodkas and rums, as well as one-off collaborations, limited releases and spirits experiences. Guided by our belief in transparency, we're proud to openly share the ethos behind what, how and why we do things with an unwavering drive to universally expand people's knowledge and appreciation of spirits and hospitality.

The experience

Precisely three meters from our original Rosebery distillery and flanked by a wall of whisky casks, Archie Rose Bar is the perfect place to pull up a stool and settle in to enjoy their full spirits range along with an interesting selection of other local and global spirits, craft beers, award winning wines and food by local producers. Here, two spaces – our bar and our cellar door – use copper, steel, oak and concrete to create a striking space where you can sample, sip and savour world-class cocktails & spirits made by our expert team.

We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated bar, cellar door & experience staff. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service and positively represent the Archie Rose Brand. To be a sucssesful canditate in this role the applicant will be a self-motivated professional with a proven track record of providing excellent customer service in person, problem solving, managing a diverse range of customer service tasks and hosting goups for tours or experiences.

Currently we are recruiting for positions in both our bar and experience operations, with casual positions for the right candidate.

Position available: Cellar Door Attendant

What are we looking for:

Ideally 1 year of relatable experience from bottle shops or cellar doors

Hold a valid NSW RSA Certificate

Excellent customer service skills with high attention to detail

Above average spirits knowledge

Must be available weekends

Must have valid Australian work rights

Position available: Experience Host

What are we looking for:

Ideally 1 year of relatable experience hosting tasting groups

Hold a valid NSW RSA Certificate

Excellent customer service skills with high attention to detail

Above average spirits knowledge

Must be available weekends

Must have valid Australian work rights

Position available: Bar Staff

What are we looking for:

Ideally 2 years of relatable experience from bars with a spirit or cocktail focus.

Hold a valid NSW RSA Certificate

Excellent customer service skills with high attention to detail

Above average spirits knowledge
