Your new role:

In this role, you will provide high-quality clinical care to Rheumatology patients across inpatient and outpatient services while developing your skills in the diagnosis and management of complex rheumatologic conditions.

Key responsibilities include:

• Delivering evidence-based assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for Rheumatology patients.
• Participating in ward rounds, outpatient clinics, and multidisciplinary team meetings.

About you:

You are a motivated and collaborative medical officer who demonstrates clinical excellence, a commitment to learning, and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team. You bring enthusiasm for Rheumatology and a patient-centred approach to care.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

• Registration (or eligibility) as a Medical Practitioner with the Medical Board of Australia.
• Sound clinical knowledge and skills in internal medicine and the management of rheumatologic conditions.

Logan Hospital:

Logan Hospital is the major health centre for one of the fastest growing areas in Queensland. We offer a range of services, including medical, rehabilitation, maternity, surgical and paediatric care.

We offer our staff and students extensive support and training in most medical specialties. As a teaching hospital, we help train future health care professionals and participate in research through strong partnerships with Queensland's leading medical schools, universities, and TAFE Queensland.

Our services will continue to grow as we build bigger and better facilities to support the community. By 2027, we'll have more beds and 5 more birthing suites as part of the Logan Hospital expansion.
