🔧 About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Factory Worker to join our team at Freedom Retractable Screens in Carrum Downs, VIC. As a Factory Worker, you will play a crucial role in our assembly and manufacturing processes, contributing to the efficient and effective operation of our facility. We are offering the opportunity to be part of a dynamic and growing organisation. This position is perfect for a proactive, highly motivated individual eager to join a close-knit production team, apply a keen eye for detail, and drive meaningful success and continuous improvement within our manufacturing facility.

There is also strong opportunities for job progression as you move towards our onsite installation team and/or into a full time role.

🧩 Key Responsibilities

Operating various machines and equipment used in the manufacturing processes

Performing quality checks and inspections to ensure product standards and specifications are met

Assisting with the loading and unloading of raw materials, parts, and finished products

Maintaining a clean and organised work environment

Collaborating with team members to identify and implement process improvements

Completing all necessary documentation and record-keeping related to production activities

Onsite Installation assistance when required

Assist with day-to-day logistics tasks

Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies

Proficient in the use of basic hand tools and power tools

Forklift license -A bonus but not essential
