The opportunity

Physiocrest Pty Ltd, a leading mobile service provider of Allied Health and rehabilitation services, is seeking a talented Occupational Therapist to join our team on a contract basis. This role will be based in Bankstown, NSW 2200, and surrounding to it's areas and will play a crucial part in delivering exceptional care to our valued clients.

What you'll be doing

Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify Adult and Paediatric clients' rehabilitation needs and develop individualised treatment plans

Implement a range of occupational therapy interventions to help clients improve their functional abilities, independence, and quality of life

Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physiotherapists and Speech Therapists, to ensure a coordinated and holistic approach to client care

Provide client and family education on the rehabilitation process and strategies for managing daily activities

Maintain accurate and detailed client records, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and policies

Actively participate in team meetings, case conferences, and professional development activities

What we're looking for

Degree in Occupational Therapy, with minimum 6 months of experince.

Registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as an Occupational Therapist

Demonstrated experience in providing occupational therapy services in a rehabilitation or community-based setting

Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective treatment and support plans for Allied Health Assistants to follow up.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals

Proficient in the use of relevant assessment tools and outcome measures

Commitment to ongoing professional development and a desire to stay up-to-date with best practices in occupational therapy
