Your new role:
Join our Midwifery Group Practice at Logan Hospital and be part of a supportive, collaborative team delivering continuity of midwifery care to women and families in our community. You will:
- Provide safe, compassionate, woman-centred care across antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal stages.
- Work as a primary midwife within a small group practice model, fostering trust and partnership with women.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal health outcomes for women, babies and families.
- Contribute to quality improvement, research, and innovation in midwifery practice within Metro South Health.
About you:
You are a dedicated and experienced midwife who is passionate about continuity of care and improving outcomes for women and their families. To be successfu in the role, you:
- Hold current registration as a Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and relevant tertiary qualification.
- Have proven ability to deliver woman-centred, culturally safe, evidence-based care.
- Have strong communication and collaboration skills with a commitment to teamwork and reflective practice.
- Possess a willingness to participate in on-call and shift work as part of a supportive group practice model.

Logan Hospital:
Logan Hospital is the major health centre for one of the fastest growing areas in Queensland. We offer a range of services, including medical, rehabilitation, maternity, surgical and paediatric care.
We offer our staff and students extensive support and training in most medical specialties. As a teaching hospital, we help train future health care professionals and participate in research through strong partnerships with Queensland's leading medical schools, universities, and TAFE Queensland.
Our services will continue to grow as we build bigger and better facilities to support the community. By 2027, we'll have more beds and 5 more birthing suites as part of the Logan Hospital expansion.
