Caloundra City Private School (CCPS) is an independent, co-educational school located in the heart of Pelican Waters on the Sunshine Coast. We are seeking expressions of interest for an innovative and relational Humanities Teacher to join our secondary team. This role offers the opportunity to teach across a range of Humanities subjects (Years 7-10), with potential contributions to senior pathways in Business Studies or Legal Studies, depending on experience and qualifications.

Essential Qualifications and Requirements
Current Queensland College of Teachers (QCT) registration.
Relevant tertiary qualifications in the Humanities learning area (e.g., History, Geography, Civics, Business Studies, or related fields).
Demonstrated capacity to design engaging, conceptually rich, and inclusive learning experiences.
Familiarity with QCAA curriculum and assessment requirements, including the Alternative Sequence Syllabus in Business Studies.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a willingness to contribute to the broader life and culture of the school.
Preferred Skills and Desirable Attributes
Experience integrating Humanities learning with cross-curricular or project-based approaches.
Confidence using Canvas LMS, digital learning tools, and contemporary pedagogies.
Ability to link Humanities learning with community partnerships or local contexts, IDEAS Program, or Classroom Connect opportunities.
A reflective mindset and commitment to ongoing professional learning.
