As the Executive Director, Delivery and Regional Priorities, your primary objective is to provide high-level expert advice and strategic leadership across the DHLGCD portfolios, within the Big Rivers of Katherine and surrounding regions.

Your key duties include providing strategic leadership, developing collaborative partnerships and ensuring positive relationship management for highly sensitive political issues, programs and strategies for housing and community reform. In addition, you will provide input into the preparation of budgets for areas of responsibility, scoping documents and reports on program implementation with forward planning focus.

To meet the challenges of this strategic role you require, executive level experience driving and achieving strategic objects for a frontline human services organisation, the ability to manage and interpret the political environment, supported by evidence-based decision making, finance and people management skills. You will also require demonstrated cultural competence and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, along with a sound understanding of key housing and communities’ reform initiatives. Exceptional collaborative and influential skills with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships and strategic alliances, and experience delivering services in remote communities is essential.
