The VET for Secondary Students team works directly with schools and regions across the Northern Territory to support the delivery of vocational education and training programs. These programs contribute to students’ NTCET pathways and prepare young people for meaningful post-school destinations into industry. The team provides expert advice and guidance to ensure VET offerings are accessible, relevant, and aligned with student needs and local workforce opportunities.
As an Administration Coordinator you’ll provide high-level administrative and financial support across the VET in Schools team, and act as the central triage point for the team you’ll ensure efficient workflows, timely responses, and well-coordinated systems and processes.
You’ll coordinate meetings, manage diaries, organise travel, and oversee the preparation of briefing papers and correspondence as well as support financial management, procurement, and resource allocation while helping staff build capability in key government systems.
About you
To be successful in this role, you’ll have:
Proven organisational skills with sharp attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Experience providing high-quality administrative support, including managing diaries, emails, meetings, and travel.
Understanding of corporate administrative processes, procurement and finance systems, or the ability to learn quickly.
Strong IT skills across Microsoft Office and records management systems.
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach.
