Hours: Monday to Friday 7am – 2pm.

About Us

Located in the picturesque coastal area of Point Samson, Samson Beach Chalets, Caravan Park and Tavern offers guests a relaxing getaway experience. We are seeking a dedicated and versatile individual to maintain the high standard of our grounds across all three of our properties. This role is crucial in ensuring our facilities remain beautiful and welcoming for all our visitors.

The Role

We are looking for a reliable, hands-on team member to manage daily gardening and grounds maintenance. The position requires a mix of gardening skills and general labour, using a variety of equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

Garden Care: General maintenance including mowing, edging, weeding, pruning, and watering of garden beds and lawn areas.

Horticulture: Planting new flora, mulching, and managing irrigation systems as required.

Grounds Upkeep: Ensuring all external areas of the chalets, caravan park, and tavern are neat, tidy, and free of rubbish.

Machinery Operation: Safely operating various gardening equipment (mowers, trimmers, etc.) and a forklift for moving supplies and materials (e.g., bulk mulch, pallets of drinks).

Minor Maintenance: Assisting with maintenance during general duties as needed.

Skills & Experience

Proven experience in grounds keeping, gardening, or a similar role is essential.

Mandatory: Must hold a current Australian Manual Driver's License.

Mandatory: Must hold a current Forklift Ticket (LF Licence).

Ability to work independently and manage a structured weekly workload.

Physically fit and comfortable with manual labour in outdoor conditions.

Proactive attitude with a keen eye for detail.

Reliable and punctual, with strong communication skills.
