Dental Assistant / Patient Coordinator

We are offering a new and exciting opportunity for an experienced Dental Assistant / patient coordinator.

We have a casual position available Mondays, Wednesdays Fridays and Saturdays (half day), for an enthusiastic, caring, and positive team member to join us as an experienced Dental Assistant and patient coordinator (dual role).

Our clinic provides comprehensive dental services, with an emphasis on implant procedures, wisdom tooth extractions, IV sedation, as well as general dentistry - including crowns, bridges, root canal therapy, and whitening treatments. As a seasoned Dental Assistant, you will collaborate with our experienced dentists, supporting a diverse range of procedures and further developing your professional skills.

The ideal candidate will have

· A valid and recognized Dental Assisting qualification – Certificate III or IV

· Experience in surgical dental procedures - including implant and third molar surgery

· Experience in, or willingness to learn administrative tasks such as appointment scheduling and processing payments

· Excellent time management, organisational, and multi-tasking skills

· A commitment to providing high-quality patient care, coupled with a calm and positive approach to all facets of the client experience.

· Minimum of 3 years’ experience

Key Responsibilities

· Assisting with all dental procedures

· Adhering to infection control protocols and standards

· Decontamination and sterilisation of dental equipment and instruments

· Be responsible for the smooth running of the clinic room

· Welcoming patients, booking appointments, and managing payment processing

Beneficial Attributes

· Reception or patient coordination experience is a bonus

· Experience with Dentally practice management software is a bonus

· Familiarity with Trios scanners
