About the role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) to join our vibrant team at Discover and Learn Academy in Heatherbrae, NSW. In this full-time role, you will play a vital part in providing high-quality early childhood education and care to our youngest learners.

What you'll be doing

Developing and implementing engaging, age-appropriate educational programs that align with the Early Years Learning Framework

Fostering a nurturing, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment that supports the holistic development of each child

Observing and documenting children's progress, interests, and needs to inform ongoing curriculum planning

Building strong partnerships with families to ensure a collaborative approach to children's learning and wellbeing

Participating in team meetings, professional development, and continuous improvement initiatives

Maintaining a safe, clean, and well-organised classroom environment

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field

Eligibility for registration as an Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) in NSW

Minimum of 1 year experience working in an early childhood education setting

Strong understanding of child development, learning, and behaviour

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with children, families, and colleagues

Demonstrated creativity and enthusiasm in delivering play-based learning experiences

Commitment to ongoing professional development and a culture of continuous improvement
