Position details
The Senior Advisor is a new, full-time ongoing role within the Governance, Legal, Operations and Engagement (GLOE) division. The position provides high-level strategic and operational support to the Executive Director and plays a key role in coordinating divisional initiatives across governance, compliance, risk, people and culture, and stakeholder engagement.
The role contributes to the division's effectiveness by supporting strong governance, compliance, and operational practices. It helps identify risks, dependencies, and opportunities, providing advice that informs executive decision-making and ensures divisional priorities are delivered efficiently.
This position also supports broader organisational transformation and business improvement efforts by strengthening collaboration across GLOE and other divisions. By building capability and embedding effective governance practices, the Senior Advisor helps the commission deliver on its strategic and operational objectives.
