About the Role

Join TRUCK TECH as an experienced Diesel Mechanic on day shift (Monday to Friday, 6am-3pm) at our Dandenong branch. You’ll work on trucks, trailers, and buses in a modern, fully equipped workshop using the latest tools and diagnostic technology.

This is a full-time, permanent role offering:
A base rate of $43–$47 per hour + super + uncapped monthly bonuses (average $1,500 extra per month)

Duties

Diagnose and repair faults on trucks, trailers, and buses

Carry out routine servicing and preventative maintenance

Use cutting-edge diagnostic tech in a clean, modern workshop

Communicate effectively with service advisors, customers, and team members

Identify and report new issues, ensuring timely follow-up

Skills & Experience

Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology (Essential)

Full, valid Australian work rights (Essential)

Minimum 2 years’ experience working on heavy vehicles

Strong problem-solving and communication skills
